Tailor Position

Alteration Specialists is looking for Tailors in NYC, Hoboken, NJ & Greenwich, CT. We are looking for a dynamic professional Tailors, distinguished by their charisma, technical prowess, and professional integrity. This role will include sewing on the machine, and supporting the fitter/tailors and tailor shop manager. This is a full time role with an hourly rate, full benefits, and opportunities for future growth.

Responsibilities

• Machine Production and Sewing
• Demonstrate that you are meeting personal production targets
• Cultivate proficiency with men's, women's, and bridal alterations as well as alterations of difficult fabrics

• Analytics
• Constantly be evaluating processes that are not efficient and come up with solutions to better optimize our organization
• Inform front desk of all re-alterations
• Keep track of and scan your production during the day and communicate with front desk to confirm accuracy

Experience

• 5+ years of alteration tailoring experience required
• Proficiency in English recommended
