Predictable Hours: 1 class on Sunday (required) + 2 flexible weekday classes tailored around your schedule (e.g., Tuesdays & Wednesdays). Free Instructor Certification: We cover and provide your full Instructor Certification program. Great Side Gig: Designed to fit seamlessly around a 9-to-5, shift work, or university classes. What You'll Do Lead small-group CPR, AED, and First Aid training classes (typically 10-15 adult learners per class). Complete a short, paid 3-hour observation period sitting in on live classes to get comfortable with our operational flow. Create a comfortable, encouraging environment for adult learners mastering emergency skills. Maintain training equipment and ensure all course guidelines are followed during sessions. What We're Looking For Medical / Healthcare Background: Active EMTs, paramedics, nursing/medical students, or clinical healthcare workers with familiarity with medical terminology. Current CPR Certification: Must possess a valid, active CPR certification (AHA, Red Cross, or equivalent). Sunday Availability: Ability to teach standard Sunday classes in Bed-Stuy (non-negotiable). Strong Communication Skills: Comfort speaking in front of small groups (10-15 people) and instructing adult learners.
